Back to Reality...
So my trip to Dallas was fantastic! I was able to stop by Neiman Marcus on the last day of the trip. I was not able to get the Chanel Khaki nail polish (SOLD OUT!!) but I did get something comparable. This Deborah Lippmann Polish in Waking up in Vegas!!! How cute is that! I have tried her polishes before but something is different the quality is excellent and the color is true, plus I only needed one really good coat. Some of my favorite shades in her collection are below.
Along with my new nail polish I picked up some new Dior DiorShow Mascara in Chestnut because well....who does not love some new Dior Diorshow??? It was a splurge but I love the way it makes my lashes look natural but with a little something extra.

Weekend...Football...Packing
This weekend is going to be a long one...not only do I have to work my second job we have a UGA home football game! Unfortunately the Dawgs have not been so hot and we are playing Tenn. However I see this as a great opportunity for me to make a good amount of extra cash! Also I have to start packing Sunday for my trip to Dallas for a conference for my regular job! I am quite excited since it is my first trip to Dallas...or Texas! I have heard only wonderful things and I cannot wait to go! One thing I am most excited about is visiting and shopping at the flagship Neiman Marcus store in DT Dallas! Some new Chanel polish in Khaki Brun, maybe some new shoes or a cute dress...I can't wait to see it!

My love of Tucker!
My love affair began when.... I was standing in a boutique in Athens (now closed) :( when I saw it this gorgeous blue button up dress. The sleeves had a little bit of poof and the length, print, color and style was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! As I started to shop the store I noticed blouses and tanks with the same style...who was this designer....TUCKER! It was love at first sight. Well since Tuckers collaboration with Target I am now the proud owner of 10 Tucker pieces and I love them all! Each season I am blown away with the magical prints and styles that this brand puts out. So below I have decided to display some of my favorite looks from Tucker this season!
Fall Fashion Finds....
So yesterday as I strolled through downtown Athens before work I decided to stop at one of the cute boutiques. Athens is filled with a gaggle of womens clothing boutiques from high-end lines (Marc Jacobs, Missoni, TIBI, etc) to affordable trendy lines like (BB Dakota, Judith March, etc). So I stopped at one of the more affordable stops after getting my "I am sick FroYo" and as I passed by I saw the most scrumptious faux fur vest! The one trend piece I have been looking for, for my closet. I am so excited because earlier in September I saw the same vest on one of the Fall Trend pages of one of the big Magazines...I believe it was Elle or Marie Claire. I think I have a couple of awesome outfit options for my vest! Hope Ya'll Like!

Ch Ch Changes....
I have decided that I am going to embark on a journey for the next 6 months, I graduate college in less than 8 weeks and I have been working non-stop for the past 6 months! I have been thinking a lot about changes that I need to make in my life in order to make myself happy. It seems for the past year I have been go go go taking care of other people instead of myself, and in that I have lost who I really am. This thought does not make me happy if anything it makes me furious and angry that somewhere in the twist and turns the good and bad, I have lost the most important thing and that is myself. I know it sounds so not original but I have turned into someone I no longer enjoy being. I have a great boyfriend and I love my job even though it is not permanent I still have to find a job after graduation that I enjoy and love, I do not want to settle like many of my friends and I know that with the economy the way it is it hard to find anything without exhausting every resource. So here is the plan I am going to lay out a variety of things that I want to do and change in my life over the next 6 months nothing crazy but simple changes.
1. I need to start taking care of my body
2. I need to expand my mind, being forced to read 300 page con law books has somewhat diminished my love of reading I need to get that back
3. I need to find my happy place again (I am not depressed but I have been sluggish and sad for a while, I love my life and what it has given me but something has been off for a while)
4. Time to myself has been sparingly sparse I have been on a whirl wind busy schedule barely able to clean my house let alone go grocery shopping.
5. Making myself happy first and foremost...I am a textbook people pleaser and I have let that control parts of my life including my close relationships with people I love.
There are more things to add to this list but for now this is enough I am getting myself ready for this journey of empowerment (if it can even be called that) but it must be something deep.

It has been awhile
Wow! That is pretty much my last 6 weeks, after getting promoted at work and taking on a large amount of responsibility as the social marketing director I am tired and I am ready for a major vacation...I will be posting less but I am still here!

4th Annual Wake n Bake off!
Pictures are to come of my desserts but I Won I Won 2nd place! Haha but that is still awesome b/c i had no idea how the dessert tasted!
Actually I made two dessert the first was a creamy lemon raspberry tart made with Cantillion Rose it had fresh raspberrys soaked in the the Cantillion and it was served with a soft lemony whipped cream and a Cantillion Rose and raspberry reduction sauce
I really thought that this was going to be the winner but I was sadly mistaken. I was my dark horse (literally) My Chocolate Brownie Pudding made with Bells Double Cream Stout won 2nd Place overall in the bake off.
These recipes will come shortly in the next couple of days. I need to transfer them from paper to electronic!

I absolutely L-O-V-E this movie!
Unfortunatly for me I am not Cher, however I do have her impulsive spending habits that both me and my wallet do not like. However the feel, smell and happiness I get from filling up my closet is exhilarating and gives me a sort of contact high!
So Yesterday I decided that I have to step up and get my shit together!
Since I am already getting my body in shape I need to get my entire life in shape!
I am hoping that I can slow down and limit my spending in order to save at least $400 a month. Since i have a ton of student loan payments coming up I need to get focus and get prepared!

Latest Purchases
This picture is horrible this is a Spring 09 Madison and Marcus Prestige dress in deep sea. It has POCKETS!!! and buttoms up 2/3 of the front of the dress. The fabric is amazingly luxe and is super comfy.
These lovelys are from Yellow Box Shoes, a super cute label that has a ton of affordable flats, they do a lot of fashion flip flops but I am only a fan of their flats!
These can be paired with so much stuff I am so excited
( I am a super bargin shopper both of these items were on sale I got the dress and The Red Dress Boutique in Athens and the shoes are from another store in Athens Heery's Clothing both of these stores have online stores and great selection.)
Soooo I went ahead and did it, I made the jump and purchased some huggable hangers! They are not the named brand huggable hangers but they are the same quality and a lot cheaper. Mine were purchased at TJ Maxx in black with silver hardware. I am starting my closet inventory this weekend so I will keep everyone posted on how they do.

SNOW!!!
Let the Race begin.....
On a lighter note I have decided that this semester I am going to overhaul my entire life, I look at it as a sort of cleansing before I hit the real world after college. This overhaul will include organizing my life including car, room. In addition to this I will be working to lose 25lbs over the next few months with the help of a nutritionist and a new holistic care doctor I think it is within my reach!

Let me first introduce myself, my name is Sara I am a graduating senior at the University of Georgia I am 24 years old and I live here in Athens Georgia.
Here are a few things about myself:
1. I live with my boyfriend Richie
2. We have two cats Vada and Madge (named after Madonna!)
3. I attend UGA and work part time as a waitress (not my first choice but it pays the bills)
4. I am a Political Science major with a minor in Environmental Law, but my true love is fashion and more fashion.
5. I do not plan to attend law school it is way over rated for me!
6. I am a shopoholic its not a problem for me just my boyfriend
7. I have a younger brother and sister
8. I am from the suburbs of Atlanta
9. UGA football is the best sport on earth
10. Some of my fave designers include: DVF, Marc Jacobs, Tucker, Alice and Olivia, Elizabeth and James, Joie, Chloe, Phillip Lim, ADAM, Robert Rodriguez, Stella McCartney, Rachel Roy, Rory Beca, Alexander Wang, Catherine Malandrino, D&G, Velvet, among many many others!
